Lady Panthers’ Season is Over After Playoff Loss

The Northern Bedford Girls’ Basketball team ended their 2013-2014 season on Thursday, February 20th with a tough loss. They traveled to Southern Fulton to play the Indians in a playoff game. The final score was 69-22. For the Lady Indians, Olicia Motern had 19 points, Ashley Roman had 18 points, and Macy Hollenshead had 17 points. For the Lady Panthers, Sydney Snyder had 6 points and 3 steals and Lana Gochnour had 6 points. Coach Todd Eckenroad stated, “This was a tough match up for us all three times we played.  We struggled on the boards and getting the ball to find the bottom of the net.  Southern Fulton couldn’t miss.  The girls played hard the entire game and did not show any signs of quit and that is something we need to carry on into next season.” The NBC girls ended their season that night with a final 2013/2014 record of 8 wins and 14 loses.
