10th Grade Field Trip             This year the sophomore class traveled to our Nation’s Capital, Washington DC.  The day started with a long, traffic-filled ride down there watching Duck Dynasty, all the way. Service, leadership, character, and scholarship. What is the significance? These four words serve as the four pillars of the National Honor Society. Service is defined as service to the community and individuals. Leadership involves the careful undertaking of a task and executing it in a successful way. Character is upholding the high standards of morality and behavior both inside and outside school. Scholarship requires maintaining a GPA of 94% or higher. It’s quite an honor to be invited to the FBLA State Leadership Conference. Students must place in the top three at their respective regional conferences. Once at states, competitors from all over the Commonwealth compete for a coveted spot at the National Leadership Conference, held in Anaheim, California.
